On my Gear Cutting page, is a machine made by a guy name Edwards, Now while he made everything, my intention is to get you to - THINK OUT SIDE THE BOX - , by this it is to repurpose and bring life to old parts and machinery, I see far to many people over the past 30 years , just scrap, now I found a cross slide on eBay months ago - The seller knew nothing of where it came from - he sells scrap on eBay and does well.

After a few eMails, he came down on his price and well, now it will be part of a gear cutting machine, it is heavy { I will add all that info later} any how - look at Edwards machine from England - and look at this part, it will take me a while to do this project, I have to spend time doing repairs to keep the lights on around here

This will give you an idea where to start - I could make you a Gear cutting machine - or you could buy a Swiss one for Around $10,000 - you get the point - your buying a machine to make a part - simple start learning how to make and repair everything on your own. Everything is made by man - you could practice building items from wood - a proto type if you will - Like I stated you can buy one - or I can make you one - You can buy cutters from England that are not made in China

You know the drill - it has been a Global Market for Centries, no matter what anyone tells you on the Political trail - your made in America Car has parts from all over the world including materials not found in the USA- so get over it - that was a fad you were all Brain washed into believing

Lionel trains went to the way side over 70 years ago - your just buying - THE NAME LIONEL- with the made in CHINA stamped on it. I'm right to the point when I write, we , most of us have our fav brand items, I like Bergeon and many others - I also like my own stuff that I made, Do the math - things are not cheap in the repair business { Store bought tools - you could go on Amazom a buy some cheap pot metal crap that will break after a few uses .
